Dr. Pat Davidson is coming to Vigorground

Master the art of coaching athletes and general population clients for strategic development of fitness qualities that truly carry over and have impact on their health, appearance and performance.

RTBP2 picks up where RTBP left off. If you understand the categorization system of exercises, along with the sensorimotor competencies of the three planes, now you're ready to become an architect of training programs.

These programs are built off of understanding the most logical method of progressing and regressing all the exercise patterns in the available stances and planes that they can be trained in.

Dr. Pat Davidson

Pat Davidson, Ph.D, is an exercise physiologist, strength and conditioning coach, author, consultant, and traveling lecturer. Pat started out in the fitness world as an athlete who was looking to find any training and nutrition tool possible to make him the best he could possibly be at sports.

This passion for training knowledge ultimately led Pat to pursuing a Master’s in Science in Strength and Conditioning, and a Ph.D in Exercise Physiology. Pat has worked as a Professor of Exercise Science at Springfield College and Brooklyn College, along with being the Director of Continuing Education and Training Methodology at Peak Performance in NYC.

Join Pat Davidson for a 2-day seminar hosted at VigorGround facility in Ljubljana, and be exposed to a new coaching paradigm

In this seminar, you will be able to determine the primary stance and plane that activities ranging from warm-up to conditioning in a typical fitness session belong in. Examples include the idea that change of direction in a shuttle sprint is a staggered lateral stance, frontal plane, low load, ballistic activity, and a power clean is a bilateral symmetrical stance, heavy, fast, ballistic activity.

Once you are familiar with categorizing these activities, you will learn what the sensorimotor competencies of each of these stances and planes involves, and how many of these sensorimotor competencies apply in an invariant way across different domains of fitness expression.

Finally, you will be presented with an example program design that displays exactly how to weave all the stances, planes, and fitness qualities together for a new athlete/client that they would start working with.

You'll see exactly where every exercise that has ever been conceived of fits into place, and you'll know how to coach all of them better as well.
