In this workshop, Alex will provide a brief introduction and theoretical groundwork for isometric training, how to assess isometric strength and how to apply isometric strength protocols within your existing strength training systems in order to optimise time with your athletes and adaptations to training.
We will have the convenience of using several Vald force plates during the workshop, which will provide practitioners with a closer look at how to implement isometric and training protocols with real time feedback. Alex will present protocols on running specific isometrics, which are most applicable to any team sport athletes and any athletes returning from injury, with the Run before you run protocols having been extremely useful in Alex’s work with top-class athletes.
This is a hands-on educational event that you don’t want to miss!
